DMM's Micro Wallnuts are neither forged nor made from extrusion as the standard sized Wallnuts are. They are machined. This gives the wire a full radius to sit on, and also means it is protected by being inside the nut itself. As a result, the entire nut is stronger, easier to place in shallow placements and the wire is less likely to be abraded.
