The DMM Shadow series is manufactured from a new alloy that combines the I-beam and hot-forging technologies. The result is a karabiner with incredible strength.
This karabiner feels good in the hand and clipping is really easy. The inside has a really deep basket so that the rope is guided towards the spine for added safety and the spring tension on the gate has been adjusted to minimise the chances of gate flutter.
The Shadow is completely anodised to help combat corrosion and prolong life in hot, damp or salty enviroments.
Add to this, the skinny but strong 11mm Dyneema and you have a quickdraw that performs flawlessly on all types of climbing; coming into it's own on sports routes.
Features:

- The Shadow incorporates a shrouded, keylock nose to avoid the carabiner snagging on tapes or bolts.
- The body of the Shadow has been beefed up in key areas and the straight gate incorporates a CNC'ed finger recess to make clips fast and secure.
- The bent gate has a deep curve to make clipping as easy as possible.
